i couldn't help but smile.
as i watched my father reunite with his brother after many years,
realized that my cousin is an avid call of duty player,
had a genuine family dinner since the summer of 09,
showered with an assortment of 20+ gifts,
“underneath the night sky,”
all complimented with the mellow onerepublic soundtrack playing in the background;
i couldn’t help but smile.
i hate it when my tone of sarcasm doesn't...

happiness
On second thought…
although Christmas is only a few weeks...

– but now i enjoy the cold air brushing against the vulnerable parts of my person.
